The only releases to be sold individually were Sammy Popular Type, the main four Spy Magicians, and the Bio-Suits. The majority of the Microman 21 releases came in box sets. Microman 21 is the smallest and shortest-lived Microman toyline. They terminated Romando's license early in Fall 1997, leading to the creation of the Replica Microman and Super Magnetic System toylines. The line found success among adult collectors and Takara took notice. The line was made up of reproductions of vintage Microman figures, including the obscure Bio-Suit model kits, and new figures created using the vintage molds. Microman 21 (ミクロマン21), pronounced "Two-One," was a Microman toyline produced by Romando under license from Takara. However, it still looks decent if carefully posed.M-150 Edge, the figure included with the Microman Anniversary Starter Set. What’s the point of an action figure if it can’t hold itself up?Īnd in another case of cruel reality, the huge accessories weigh more than the figure itself so it’s also practically impossible to pose the figure in action poses with weapons. Because of that, I could not put the figure in any action pose. There are possibly more, but I was frustrated with the figure’s floppiness to think of any more.Īs I mentioned just now, the biggest complaint I have with the figure is the loose knee joint. The purple waist piece was piled on by disconnecting the waist. Then, with the pieces in the way, the hands came off even more easily. The wrist gauntlets were a pain as they did not fit well and I had to shave the connections to allow the hands to fit in. The leg pieces are attached by disconnecting the thighs and calves and slipping the pieces on. The purple chrome parts are add-on armour pieces. Size comparison with Magnemicroman Icurus. The hands are made of soft plastic and pop off very easily. ![]() Unfortunately, due to the inconsistent quality of the toy, one of her knees is totally loose and cannot hold any pose at all. These include the standard neck ball joint, shoulder swivel joints, double elbow joints, wrist joints on some of the hands, torso and waist ball joints, hip ball joints, double knee joints, triple ankle joints and toe joints. As expected from the Microman line, she comes with a ridiculous number of joints. This is a quick shot of the articulation range of the figure. ![]() There are clear pieces over the head and chest for a cyborg appearance, as the character backstory mentions something along the lines of her being repaired after switching sides from the bad guys. ![]() A combination of chrome, black and clear parts are used. It’s roughly 8cm tall so I had to zoom my camera quite a bit. She also has a clear display base with a clip. Unlike typical Microman toys, Micro Sister Orga comes with 3 extra pairs of hands. Here are the accessories that came with the figure. The blister package is packed with lots of chrome bits and pieces. This is the second sale item I bought off HLJ. This series contains female figures with many accessories which use a 3mm port to allow for mixing and matching of weapon combinations. The Micro Sister series from Takara’s Microman line brings a new base body that is even smaller than the average Microman figure. ![]()
